This is the first couple practice sessions after a couple weeks off for the holidays About half of these clips I still have the DNA Dragon Grip on my forehand. I still really like this rubber - my only issue with it is that (on an all wood blade at least) I feel a big drop off in power once I get a couple steps back from the table and start swinging. It just lacks that top gear. For a developing player this may actually be a good thing…. I’m swapping it over to a Timo Boll ALC to see if I like it on a carbon blade. Dynaryz ZGR feels similar to Dignics 09C - except maybe more catapult/pop. It is exceptionally fun to step on the gas with this thing. Though, I have to mention - catapult affect does you no favors during the serve. I plan on doing a “Best of the Hybrids” video coming up. Focusing on DNA Dragon Grip, Donic Bluegrip C2, Joola Dynaryz ZGR - Might throw in some notes on Dignics 09C and Rakza Z… If you have any equipment questions ask me in the comments!
